Mount Oppression

The Climb

Climbing Mount Oppression serves as a powerful educational tool, designed to immerse players in the nuanced realities of social justice and intersectionality. This journey up the mountain is not just a path within a game, but a metaphorical exploration of the societal hierarchies that shape our world. By engaging with the various levels, each representing different groups facing oppression, players gain insights into the complexities of privilege, marginalization, and the interconnectedness of different identities.

This interactive experience fosters empathy and understanding, as players are confronted with the challenges and struggles of those different from themselves. It prompts critical thinking and discussions about real-world issues, encouraging players to reflect on their own positions within these structures. The game's structure, emphasizing the importance of collecting Character Cards from each level, reinforces the concept that comprehensive understanding and allyship are crucial in the fight against oppression.
